About Komak.com
Komak.com is a personal project built to help everyday investors make
smarter decisions when it comes to options and bonds. The site brings
together a collection of easy-to-use tools designed to analyze different
options strategies — whether you're looking to generate extra income
or protect your capital.
At the heart of these tools is the Black-Scholes model which helps
estimate the fair value of options and provides useful stats like
implied volatility and the Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Vega, and Rho).
You can also compare potential returns across different strike prices
and expiration dates to find strategies that best fit your goals.
Originally built to track a personal investment portfolio, the tools on
Komak.com are now used to:
- Decide which options to buy or sell
- Determine whether to let expiring options go or roll them into new trades
- Keep track of capital gains
- Explore opportunities for tax-loss harvesting
In addition to options, komak.com includes a small set of tools for
managing bonds and building a more balanced portfolio. These tools help
with:
- Evaluating corporate bonds
- Building bond ladders for steady income
- Tracking coupon payments and maturity dates
Why I built this site
I created Komak.com out of my own need for a clear, reliable way to
manage my investments. I was looking for tools that could help me
understand risk, compare strategies, and stay organized. Over time,
these tools evolved into something I rely on daily, and I hope they can
be just as useful to others who are navigating the markets on their own.
